Junior Designer

We’re looking for a curious and enthusiastic junior designer who’s looking to bring their own personal style to this role and help make better things happen. 

You’ll work alongside the wider design and UX team, approaching digital and marketing projects with stacks of ideas and creative bravery. 

You should be:  

• Keen to get stuck in and create work you’re proud of   
• Happy to work to a brief and deadlines, taking ownership for your part 
• Unafraid to ask questions and interrogate briefs  
• Likeable, with a sunny, optimistic outlook  
• Organised and have great attention to detail  
• Self-motivated, pro-active and independent 
• Understanding of your role in the wider business ambitions of creating better business by delivering outstanding outputs at every interaction  

Your responsibilities will include:  

• Creating impactful designs that meet the brief 
• Bringing an open-minded approach to interpreting design briefs 
• Finding imaginative ways to create stand-out work 
• Supporting the wider design team by discovering and sharing insights & inspiration  
• Taking responsibility for your deadlines 

Your skills:  

• Working knowledge of Figma, Canva and Photoshop, with an enthusiasm to explore additional programmes (e.g Animate or AfterEffects)  
• A desire to hone your eye for layout, typography, illustration, form and style 
• Understand colour & design theory and root this into your thoughtful designs   
• You’ll be approachable, resilient and flexible  
• You’ll have around 12 months of experience, ideally in an agency 

As part of the design team, you should:  

• Aim for outstanding – the design studio’s work is the most visual representation of our quality and has the most influence on our reputation   
• Be collaborative – through combining creative ideas and shared imagination you’ll be part of an outstanding output
