Mulberry Cottages Sold To Industry Giant, Awaze

What became Kent’s biggest holiday-let company, and growing national brand, Mulberry Cottages, has been acquired by Awaze, home to brands such as Cottages.com, Hoseasons and James Villa Holidays.

Mulberry Cottages has worked with Think Studio since start-up in 2006 and we have enjoyed a synergetic journey together, including several rebrands and nearly half-a-dozen websites as the business evolved and developed its proposition and national reach.

Mulberry Cottages founder, Sarah Wood, said, “Each time we were ready to make a leap forward at Mulberry Cottages, we challenged Think Studio to deliver that ‘next level’. We continually worked with the brand, digital and support teams to find the right commercial and creative direction and they delivered every time. Over the years Mulberry Cottages continued to strengthen as a business in brand and value and I am delighted to have worked with such a talented and supportive agency.”

Alex Ridings, Managing Partner, said, “Mulberry Cottages is one of our oldest clients. Working with Sarah and Mulberry Cottages has been a privilege. What launched with a handful of properties, grew to become a coveted brand throughout this rapidly growing industry. Together, we managed to create something distinctive and desirable; positioning the brand in just the right place to find traction with so many aspiration customers and owners. We are immensely proud of the work and to have worked with such a great and collaborative team there.”
